In May 2014, the ‘Industrial and Logistics’ group of real estate services giant CBRE invited occupiers, developers and investors in the industrial and logistics market to a two-day conference on business opportunities. Over 200 of Europe’s top industrial professionals, from over 90 companies across 20 countries, were immersed into presentations and workshops around the theme, at the Hotel Arts in Barcelona, Spain. While CBRE had taken care of interesting, inspiring content, producer Grand Slam took Area Técnica on board to take care of the lighting, sound and backdrops.
As a technological partner to the event, Area Técnica chose two new Barco HDX-W20 FLEX projectors, two ScreenPro II switchers and a Matrix DVI router to create a visually stunning HD backdrop. The event organizers, as well all congress participants, were duly impressed with the brightness and contrast of the projection, onto the 24-meter long backdrop.
