About pre-configuring a room

Meeting rooms can be created without any Base Unit linked. These meeting rooms can then be used to speed up the onboarding process for the Base Unit.

How to create

  1. Click + Create room.

    A configuration setup is opened.

  2. Enter the name of the meeting room in the input field after Meeting room name.

  3. Click Continue.

  4. Is the desired Base Unit linked in XMS Cloud?

    • If yes, go to next step.
    • If no, click Pre-configure & Link Later.

  5. Select the desired Base Unit in the Link to available Base Units section.

  6. Click Link Base Unit.

    The Base Unit will be renamed to the name of the meeting room.
