1.1 ClickShare term clarifications

Clarification of the term “Base Unit” used in this document

When referring in this document to the term “Base Unit” means that the content is applicable for following Barco products:

C-5, C-10, C-5 Gen2, C-10 Gen2
CX-20, CX-30, CX-50, CX-20 Gen2, CX-30 Gen2, CX-50 Gen2
CX-M, CB Core, CB Pro
Hub Core, Hub Pro

Base Unit: The Base Unit is the central hardware enabling the ClickShare functionality. This hardware is typically installed near the displays of the meeting room. Depending on the meeting room, the Base Unit can be hidden or made inaccessible.

Clarification of the term “Button” used in this document

When referring in this document to the term “Button” means that the content is applicable for following Barco products:

2nd gen Button
3th gen Button
4th gen Button
5th gen Button

Button: The Button is a wireless dongle that sets up and maintains a wireless connection between the user device and the Base Unit of the meeting room. While plugged in a USB port of the user device, the Button is detected as a USB mass storage device.
