VPU (Video Processing Unit) cards perform the various scaling, layer effects, and image compositing operations within the Event Master series of products. The internal cross point routes all video signals to and from the VPU cards. The VPU cards have no external connections.
Each VPU card is a 4K scaler capable of acting as a 4K scaler, or as two (2) Dual Link scalers, or as four (4) 2K HD scalers.
