3.2 Installing the lens

Caution: Do not transport the projector with any lens installed.
Prerequisites

All Ultra Short Throw (UST) G lenses require a lens support. The lens support must be (partially) installed before installing the projection lens. For more information, see “G lens (0.37 - 0.4 : 1) UST 90°”.

How to install
  1. Rotate the protective caps present on the lens and the lens holder counterclockwise to remove them.

  2. Gently insert the lens all the way in the lens holder.

  3. Rotate the lens clockwise to lock the lens.

  4. Is the projector installed above the head of people? (not applicable for UST lenses)

    • If yes, provide a dual locking method by installing the lens safety cable. See chapter “Installing the lens safety cable”.
    • If no, no further actions required.
