About Desktop App updates

The Desktop App automatically checks for updates each startup. Updates can be applied using the following methods:

• Automatic mass deployment by IT.
• Manual update in the Desktop App by the user.

The following procedure describes how to update the Desktop App manually.

How to manually update

1. Must the update be applied immediately?

   • If yes, click Install and Restart (reference 2).
   • If no, click Not Now (reference 1).

   

   The Desktop App is closed while updating and opens when the update is finished. This may take a while.
