1.1 Introduction

Base Unit
The Base Unit is the central hardware enabling the ClickShare functionality. This hardware is typically installed near the displays of the meeting room. Depending on the meeting room, the Base Unit can be hidden or made inaccessible.
Button
The Button is a wireless dongle that sets up and maintains a wireless connection between the connected device and the Base Unit of the meeting room. The Button is plugged in a USB port of the computer and gets detected as a USB mass storage device.
Touch panel
A touch panel is a touch screen tablet connected to a room system. This tablet allows for management of the meeting room account. The touch panel offered by ClickShare is called the Control Panel.
AV equipment
Audio-Video (AV) equipment refers to specialized hardware that supports audio, video or both audio and video related capabilities. This equipment can be a standalone peripheral or built-in to other hardware.
