Display Power Management System (DPMS) helps extend your display's diagnostic lifetime by turning off the backlight when it's not being used. While DPMS is enabled on your display by default, you also need to activate it on your computer. To do this, go to your workstation's Power options.

Note: Barco recommends setting your workstation's DPMS to activate after 30 minutes of inactivity.

Note: Enabling DPMS mode enables other power management settings: USB charging, Hibernate and Presence sensor. See further for more information.

To enable or disable DPMS mode

1. Bring up the OSD main menu.
2. Navigate to Power Management > DPMS Mode menu.
3. Select Enabled or Disabled and confirm.
