Barco has been an avid supporter of the Sundance Film Festival for many years, ultimately becoming an Official Provider of digital cinema projectors for all of its cinema venues. So, when festival organizers were seeking a projection solution to enliven several high-profile virtual reality and art installations at this year’s event, Barco was the natural choice.

“We selected Barco’s large venue projectors for our immersive, conceptually sophisticated art installations based on the excellent performance we’ve experienced with their digital cinema projectors over the years,” said Holden Payne, Technical Director of Exhibition and Projection for Sundance Institute.

The festival featured three innovative multimedia exhibits utilizing Barco projectors and image processing solutions.
