International Women’s Day 2021 is all about showing support and solidarity. We can all choose to challenge and call out gender bias and inequality. We can all choose to seek out and celebrate women's achievements. Collectively, we can all help create an inclusive world.
For companies to attract more female tech profiles, we need to encourage more women in the STEM fields. Needless to say, closing the gender gap in technology starts at schools and universities. In the US, women make up just 18% of computer science degrees1. In Europe, only a quarter (25.9 %) of all engineering students are female.2
With this campaign featuring our own Barco women in tech and celebrating their achievements, we aim to tap into women’s imagination and curiosity by unveiling the endless possibilities a tech career can bring.
