Barco and Getinge have built a strong partnership over the past seven years. Both companies have a wide expertise in bringing high-quality video and audio over IP into the operating room. Getinge will make use of Barco’s Nexxis video-over-IP platform to launch its renewed Tegris operating room integration system.

Nexxis is Barco’s video-over-IP solution specifically designed for the digital OR and enables sharing uncompressed, high-resolution video and audio in and between operating rooms or wards in a hospital. Nexxis is designed to be future proof, therefore is ready to integrate and new technologies as soon as they become available and the surgical teams needs them. In a nutshell, Nexxis scales with the customer’s needs.
