Time travel to 15th-century Bruges with RLM-W6 projectors
The 15th century is down in the records of the Belgian city of Bruges as the ‘Golden Age’. ‘Historium’, an exhibition on Bruges in its economic, political and cultural heyday, catapults visitors back in time with the help of Barco’s RLM projectors. Rather than a traditional museum, ‘Historium’ is an attraction in which special effects, images and music are combined to offer visitors an opportunity to experience life in Bruges as it was in 1435.
As ‘Historium’ is not an everyday exhibition, the most innovative technology was called for. Fitting visualization solutions were found in Barco’s projection product offering. Barco developed the projection set-up for several of the exhibition’s rooms. Four of our reliable, ultra-bright, ‘most silent’ RLM-W6 projectors support the systems that allow visitors to get an exciting taste of what it was like to live in a blooming Flemish city in the Middle Ages.
