Our ClickShare Base Units are tested to cast via Android mobile devices that run a pure form of Android. Casting via Android devices with other modified OS versions is possible too, but not always guaranteed.
Different mobile manufacturers modify their Android OS running on their devices which might affect the sharing ability and performance of casting to the ClickShare Base Unit. Depending on the Android mobile device, the cast icon available in the pull down menu can have a different implementation.
We advise using the ClickShare Mobile App to share your content to the meeting room display connected to the ClickShare Base Unit (how to: see KB 4332).
