Barco partners with Dicker Data for distribution in New Zealand

Expanding AV portfolio to include Wireless Conferencing Solutions

Auckland, New Zealand – 24 August 2020 – Barco, a global leader in professional visualization and collaboration technology, today announced its partnership with Dicker Data, a technology hardware, software and cloud distributor, to expand its reach across New Zealand.

Barco and Dicker Data are partnering to provide resellers with products that enable organisations to wirelessly collaborate and instantly share content. Through the partnership, Barco is entering into the Unified Communication and Collaboration (UC&C) space with its innovative ClickShare Conference solution.

As New Zealand workers gradually return to their office environments, businesses are rapidly recognising the need to digitally enable their physical meeting spaces to bridge the gap between employees in the office and those working remotely. Creating a consistent and unified meeting experience regardless of an employee’s location has been proven to increase productivity, collaboration, morale and engagement.

Barco’s ClickShare Conference simplifies the physical meeting room experience by enabling users to wirelessly connect their device to any video conferencing platform with capabilities to instantly share content. The product removes the need for cabled solutions to share content in a hybrid meeting environment.

The agreement comes into effect on Monday, 24th August 2020.
