A sphere of influence: Pufferfish and Barco unveil PufferTouch 4 at InfoComm
3 minutos de leitura
Pufferfish is giving its signature spherical display a serious upgrade. But instead of starting from scratch, the team has focused on refining what already works – and doing it together with Barco. The result is PufferTouch 4, the next generation of the immersive platform, making its public debut at InfoComm 2026 on the Barco booth (N7231).
Sharper, lighter, quieter, and ready for more
After years of global deployments across museums, visitor attractions and brand experiences, Pufferfish knew exactly where to evolve.
PufferTouch 4 brings brighter visuals, a lighter build and quieter operation, all wrapped in a more modular design that’s easier to maintain and ready to grow. Under the hood, the combination of Barco’s projection technology and the latest TI 0.80” HEP chipset drives noticeable gains in efficiency, stability and image performance.
It’s not a reinvention, it’s a refinement with intent.
Technology built together
A big part of that refinement comes from a familiar collaboration. Barco’s projection technology has been at the heart of the PufferTouch platform for years, helping translate creative concepts into consistent, high-quality visual experiences. And with PT4, that collaboration continues to evolve.
Working in close alignment with the Barco R&D teams, Pufferfish develops its platform to fully leverage Barco’s projection capabilities, from brightness and color performance to efficiency and long-term stability in real-world environments.
The combination is deliberate: strong image quality, dependable performance and a shared focus on long-term innovation. Two technologies designed to work as one.
See it for yourself
Spec sheets only tell part of the story. PufferTouch 4 is one of those platforms that makes more sense when you see it and interact with it. You can do exactly that at InfoComm 2026, live on the Barco booth (N7231), where we’ll showcase the new PT4 powered by our I600 projector.
Drop by, experience it in action, and see what happens when projection expertise and immersive design evolve together.
