This training is taking you through the essentials on installing/commissioning a Barco Image Processing product assembly successfully.

This is targeted towards Fixed Install applications only!

Course Agenda

Event Master series overview:

• Processing frames / System I/O cards / Linking

System resources:

• Layers / Layer and Connector Capacity / Screens vs. Aux / Mapping sources / Keying functions

System configuration:

• Stills capture and importing / Presets / JSON API / Creating destinations

Watch and Repeat:

• Creating destinations (con’t)- LIVE Demo / Blended projection/ LED multi-output

Hands on time and Q&A

Upgrading and Online Resources:

• Upgrade via Web interface / Upgrade via USB / Where to get latest firmware / myBarco.com / FTP site / YouTube videos

Written Exam

Participants must provide their own laptop computer with the following minimum specifications:

• Intel Core i5 or greater with at least 4GB of System RAM
• Built-in Display with native resolution 1920x1080 or higher
• Windows 7, Windows 10, or Mac w/OS X (High Sierra or greater). 
• Built-in RJ-45 Ethernet port (USB to RJ-45 Dongle must be supplied by attendee if not built-in).1
• A full-sized wired or wireless mouse is suggested.
• The latest version of the Event Master toolset must be pre-installed.
  • This software can be downloaded from https://www.barco.com/en/support/e2-gen-2/drivers and filter for Application Software.

1Understanding of basic computer networking and ability to configure the settings on your computer is a must.

Prerequisites

• Basic computer operation and networking experience.
  

Target audience

Audiovisual technicians, technical directors, pre-sales engineers or anyone who will have to operate and understand the system in order to specify it as well as set it up for Immersive Fixed Install applications.

Objective

Students will engage in classroom theory and hands-on activities in order to:

- Enhance their understanding of the product line. They will gain the required skills to successfully set up the system for use in fixed install applications.

- Further enhance their understanding of the product line.
