Under the California Electronic Waste Recycling Act, 2003 Barco are required to collect an electronic waste recycling fee at the point of sale for covered electronic devices. The electronic waste recycling fee determined under the Act is used to cover the costs of covered electronic waste collection and recycling using approved collectors and recyclers.
The electronic waste recycling fee will be visible on invoices for products bought from Barco (including online sales). The disposal of covered electronic devices with regular municipal waste is not permitted in California.
