“Teams working in an ergonomically designed operations room are much happier. As a result, they work more efficiently,” says Patrick Vancaeyzeele, Manager Control Center West at Eandis, Belgium’s biggest distribution grid operator. So when the time came to install a new SCADA system and a matching visualization solution, Eandis thoroughly overhauled the regional control rooms, with a focus on ergonomics.
Barco took care of the entire project: from the ergonomics study and installation of the LED-lit video wall - including the networked video distribution – right through to the project management. “They did great. Every Barco project breathes expertise,” Philip Tempelaere, General Manager Control Centers, confirms.
