“Since its introduction, the ProScribe thin client has proven its worth in healthcare environments where physicians and nurses depend on instant availability of patient information. The device provides all the benefits of a 12-inch tablet PC and adds the convenience of silent operation, rugged durability, medical look and feel, and ready-to-go portability,” explains Barco's Market Director Toon Dierckx.
The new and upgraded ProScribe, labeled MTPP-0212, inherits all these established benefits, but has been fitted with a faster 1.6 GHz processor, 1 GB internal RAM and a whole series of options, including up to 16 GB Compact Flash memory and 32 GB Solid State memory.
