The ClickShare Desktop App has two user interface designs:
- Current user interface (introduced in version 4.23): A modern, large-format, thumbnail‑based interface introduced in version 4.23.It became the default user interface in version 4.44 and remains the only available interface today. and the only available UI from version 4.44 onward.
- Old user interface (versions prior to 4.44): A smaller, simplified legacy interface available in all versions prior to 4.44. This interface has been fully phased out and is no longer available in current Desktop App versions.
From version 4.44.0 onward, the current user interface became the default, and the old user interface was completely removed. As a result, the option to switch between user interfaces is no longer available.

Switching to the old user interface
- In the app, slide the toggle button to the left.
- Click the Switch Back button in the next window that opens in the app.
Switching to the current user interface
- In the app, click Switch to the new version and then click Switch Now.

Beta Program restriction: If you're registered for the Beta Program, you can't switch back to the old interface. To regain switching capability, open the ClickShare Desktop App, go to Settings, and turn Beta Program off.

MSI deployment (versions 4.41–4.43): If the ClickShare Desktop App MSI was deployed with the DEFAULT UI = MINI setting, the Switch to the new version option will not be available.
