7.4.1.4 Screensaver

About screensaver

To prevent damage to an idle connected display, a screensaver timer can be set. When the ClickShare system has been idle for the set amount of time, then the screensaver will automatically be displayed. The screensaver will be removed once activity has been detected.

How to set
  1. Set the desired time interval by dragging the red dot after “Show screensaver after (minutes)” close to the desired number of minutes.

Tip: The red dot will snap to the number closest to the mouse pointer.

  2. Select which content must be shown as screensaver from the drop-down menu after “Screensaver content”.

    • For default, which uses the standard Barco screensaver, go to step 4.
    • For HDMI, which uses the signal from an external source to display a custom screensaver, go to next step.
  3. Set the input mode to “off”. For more information, see “Inputs”.
  4. Click “Save changes” at the top of the page to commit the changes to the Base Unit.
