About system native rate

The system native rate determines at what clock pulse, in Hz, the units run. It is advised to set the native rate of all devices to the same Hz. This ensures minimum frames or gaps are present when communicating or dealing with signals.

system native rate and genlock

Genlock uses the system native rate to maintain the sync between other devices. Genlock out always follows the same frequency as the system native rate. For more information about genlock, see “Genlock”.

How to set

  1. Is the bottom panel hidden?

    • If yes, click the burger menu (). Go to next step.
    • If no, go to next step.

  2. Select the desired system native rate from the drop down after System native rate(Hz) (reference 19).

    Tip: Genlock can only be locked to external when the referenced rate is half, the same or double the system native rate.
