About locking the front panel

A locked front panel prevents accidental touches and unwanted modifications to the Encore3. Unlocking the front panel can be done using one the following methods:

• Using Event Master Toolset. For more information, see “Front panel settings”. (preferred)
• By disconnecting and reconnecting the power of the Encore3.

How to manage

1. Is a password for the web page required?

   • If yes, enter the desired password in the input field after Password (reference 6).
   • If no, remove the entered password from the input field after Password (reference 6).
   

   Tip: To see the entered password, use the eye icon () in the input field.

   

2. Click Apply (reference 5, Image 6–26) to confirm the web page password setting.

3. Is a password for the widget panel required?

   • If yes, enter the desired password in the input field after Password (reference 4, Image 6–26).
   • If no, remove the entered password from the input field after Password (reference 4, Image 6–26).
   

   Tip: To see the entered password, use the eye icon () in the input field.
4. Click Apply (reference 3, Image 6–26) to confirm the widget panel password setting.

5. Must API commands be processed by the Encore3?

   • If yes, enable the toggle button after External Control (reference 1, Image 6–26).
   • If no, disable the toggle button after External Control (reference 1, Image 6–26).

6. Must the front panel be locked?

   • If yes, enable the toggle button after Lock Front Panel (reference 2, Image 6–26).
   • If no, disable the toggle button after Lock Front Panel (reference 2, Image 6–26).
