About screen sharing

Screen sharing mirrors the entire screen of the connected device to the room displays. Every action or change done on the connected device is represented on the meeting room displays in real time.

About app sharing

When a specific app is being shared, then any actions or changes done to other apps of the connected device are not visible to meeting room participants. This allows the user to do actions in another app or make notes without the attendees seeing these actions on the connected displays. No content is changed on the meeting room displays as long as the app remains open on the device. If the app is closed, then ClickShare automatically stops sharing. Multi-screen sharing

ClickShare shares content to all connected displays. The shared content is identical on each display.

Prerequisites

The device must be connected to the ClickShare. For more information, see “Mobile App connection”.

How to share

1. Start the sharing using one of the following methods:

   • Using the ClickShare notification, tap Share (reference C).
   • Using the Mobile App, tap the share button (reference 4).
   

   Note: If the sharing menu in the Mobile App is not visible, tap the toggle bar (reference 1).

   

   

   A casting window is shown.

2. Select what must be shared from the casting window drop down (reference 5).

   • A single app (default)
   • Entire screen

   

3. Tap Start (reference 6, Image 5–15).

4. Is app sharing selected?

   • If yes, tap on the desired content using the pop-up.
   • If no, no further actions required.

   The desired content is shown on the meeting room displays.
