About conferencing

Holding a meeting with participants independently of their location, is a conference meeting. Conference meetings require the use of a conferencing app. There are two main types of conferences:

ClickShare enables full access to the rooms AV equipment and the local displays for both types. Meaning, anyone in the meeting room can make use of any camera’s, microphones and/or speakers in the meeting room that are connected to the Base Unit.

Content and participants

Conferences balance remote and local audience interaction with sharing content. ClickShare allows for remote participants to be shown on the screen alongside the content. Making remote participants more involved with the meeting and eliminating the need for all local participants to join the meeting on their device. For more information, see “Conference view”.
