2.4 Process for conference meetings

About conferencing

For more information about the conferencing meeting type, see “Conferencing”.

Conferencing app
A conferencing application sends audio, video and content over the internet to and from the participants. Joining a meeting through a conferencing app is seen as being a remote participant.
How to use ClickShare
  1. Connect all user devices to the ClickShare using one of the available methods:

Note: Using a wired connection prevents other connected devices from sharing. Only view room display and screenshot are available to other connected devices.
  2. Join the conference call from the user device, see:

    • Using the Desktop App, “One click join”.
    • Using the meeting invite or the conference app.
  3. Select the meeting room peripherals in the conference app, see “Using the room AV equipment”.

The room peripherals can be adjusted on the connected user device, through the conference app, on the room peripherals themselves or, through the ClickShare App. See either the documentation of the manufacturer or “Virtual remote”.

  4. Share content on the displays.

  5. Use additional ClickShare features based on how the meeting progresses.

Tip: Other ClickShare features mentioned in “Process for present meetings” only affect the local display. Remote participants are not able to see these changes. When using them, inform the remote participants about what is being shown.
