Hibernate goes a step beyond DPMS by disabling also other functions than the backlight to minimize power consumption. This happens after a set period of time you can adjust.

Note: DPMS mode must be enabled before hibernate can be enabled. See “DPMS mode”.

To enable or disable hibernate

1. Bring up the OSD main menu.
2. Navigate to Power Management > Hibernate.
3. Select Enabled or Disabled and confirm.

To adjust the hibernate time-out

1. Bring up the OSD menu.
2. Navigate to Power Management > Hibernate Timeout.
3. Set the desired time-out value and confirm.

To wake your system from hibernate

• If USB Charging is enabled, you can use a mouse or keyboard connected to your display to wake your system from hibernate.
• If USB Charging is disabled, press the jog dial on the display or use a mouse or keyboard connected directly to your workstation.
