Martin Professional gears up rental fleet with 100 UDX projectors

Bilal Assidi from Martin Professional Middle East says "the media and entertainment industry of the region is undergoing significant transformation, especially following the downturn we experienced during COVID. We would like to increase the leverage of our valuable rental partners in the region and to be ready for immediate deliveries to avoid any setbacks in projects."

The decision followed the recent visit from An Steegen, CEO of Barco at the Martin Professional Middle East headquarters based in Dubai – UAE. “Following several successful years of significant growth in the Middle East’s live events industry, we have decided to join forces with our distributor Martin Professional Middle East in formulating a platform to increase product accessibility in the region. This platform features a package of exciting enablers like, locally accessible product inventory and service along with financial incentives,” shares Erdem Soyal from Barco.

Bilal Assidi further said: “This decision is the result of detailed consultation with our customers and gaining a deeper understanding of their expectations. As a value-added distributor, we always strive to come up with creative plans in shaping our offerings of Video, Lighting, Audio, and Control portfolio towards an absolute peace of mind of our customers. And with content at entertainment venues getting significant traction, we expect Barco’s high-performance projectors to be an essential feature in any large entertainment venue in the region.”

The recent investment in 100 UDX projectors is the first step in our long-term strategy in reaffirming our position in the region. And we will have more similar plans for the upcoming year to remain the region’s primary distributor of Barco projectors.”
