U.S. Navy helicopter flight training goes immersive with Barco and CAE

Barco and CAE are partnering to develop flight trainers for the U.S. Navy, elevating immersive reality in helicopter simulators to train the next generation of pilots. Steve Leonard, CAE Program Manager for the Navy’s MH-60R Tactical Operational Flight Trainer simulator program, explains how Barco’s Collimated Display system, equipped with SIM 7 projectors and AutoAlign software, is creating lifelike simulations of Navy helicopters to train future pilots.
