ClickShare Hub Pro with Standalone Peripheral


 

Hardware requirements

  • ClickShare Hub Pro Base Unit
  • Control Panel
  • In-box 10m USB-C cable labelled "Source" and "Display" (provided with the Control Panel)
  • In-box USB-C Cable Lock
  • Standalone Peripheral (e.g. Sennheiser TeamConnect Bar M)
  • Up to two regular (non-touch) displays
  • ClickShare Hub Power Supply Unit
  • USB-A and USB-C cables
  • HDMI™ cables
  • Ethernet cable

Connection setup overview

  1. Position devices

    • Place the Hub Pro and Control Panel to the desired position in the meeting room.

    • Position the Standalone Peripheral according to room acoustics.

  2. Connect external displays to the Hub Pro

    • Use HDMI™ cables to connect the HDMI™ In of displays to the HDMI™ 1 and HDMI™ 2 ports on the Hub Pro.

  3. Connect Control Panel to the Hub Pro

    • Use the in-box 10M USB-C cable, connect the Display endpoint to the Control Panel (see also KB15484), and the Source endpoint to the purple-circled USB-C port on Hub Pro.

    • Use the in-box USB-C Cable Lock to increase the contact between the cable and the port, ensuring increased stability during data transfer.

  4. Connect Standalone Peripheral to Hub Pro

    • If the Standalone Peripheral supports USB-C connectivity

      Use a USB-C cable to connect USB-C port on the Standalone Peripheral to the USB-C port on the Hub Pro.

    • If the Standalone Peripheral supports USB-A connectivity

      Use a USB-A cable to connect the USB-A port on the Standalone Peripheral to the USB-A port on the Hub Pro. 

  5. [Optional - Wired video input connection] Connect an external device to the Hub Pro.

    • External device support DisplayPort Alt Mode

       Use a USB-C cable to connect the USB-C port of the device to the USB-C port of the Hub Pro 

    • External device does not support DisplayPort Alt Mode

      Use an HDMI™ cable to connect the HDMI™ Out port of the device to the USB-C input convertor connected to the rightest USB-C port of the Hub Pro

  6. Network connectivity

    • Connect Hub Pro to the LAN network using Ethernet cable.

  7. Power connection

    • Plug the USB-C Power Supply Unit (100W or 180W) into the power USB-C port of the Hub Pro. See KB15636.


ClickShare Hub Core with Standalone Peripheral


 

Hardware requirements

  • ClickShare Hub Core Base Unit
  • Control Panel
  • In-box 10m USB-C cable labelled "Source" and "Display" (provided with the Control Panel)
  • In-box USB-C Cable Lock
  • Standalone Peripheral (e.g. Sennheiser TeamConnect Bar S)
  • One regular (non-touch) display
  • ClickShare Hub Core Power Supply Unit
  • USB-A and USB-C cables
  • HDMI™ cables
  • Ethernet cable

Connection setup overview

  1. Position devices

    • Place the Hub Core and Control Panel to the desired position in the meeting room.

  2. Connect external display to the Hub Core

    • Use an HDMI™ cable to connect the HDMI™ In of the display to the HDMI™ 1 port on the Hub Core.

  3. Connect Control Panel to the Hub Core

    • Use the in-box 10M USB-C cable, connect the Display endpoint to the Control Panel (see also KB15484), and the Source endpoint to the purple-circled USB-C port on Hub Core.

  4. Connect Standalone Peripheral to Hub Core

    • If the Standalone Peripheral supports USB-C connectivity

      Use a USB-C cable to connect USB-C port on the Standalone Peripheral to the USB-C port on the Hub Core.

    • If the Standalone Peripheral supports USB-A connectivity

      Use a USB-A cable to connect the USB-A port on the Standalone Peripheral to the USB-A port on the Hub Core. 

  5. [Optional - Wired video input connection] Connect an external device to the Hub Core.

    • External device support DisplayPort Alt Mode

       Use a USB-C cable to connect the USB-C port of the device to the USB-C port of the Hub Core

    • External device does not support DisplayPort Alt Mode

      Use an HDMI™ cable to connect the HDMI™ Out port of the device to the USB-C input convertor connected to the rightest USB-C port of the Hub Core

  6. Network connectivity

    • Connect Hub Core to the LAN network using Ethernet cable.

  7. Power connection

    • Plug the USB-C Power Supply Unit (100W or 180W) into the power USB-C port of the Hub Core. See KB15636.
