Configuring the auto-update function ensures that you always have the latest firmware on your ClickShare Base Unit and never miss out on any new features. If your ClickShare Base Unit is connected to the internet via the company network, the automatic update function (by default enabled) will keep your Base Units up to date.
Manual firmware updates

Update via XMS Management Platforms
You can also use our XMS Management Platforms to perform (automatic) firmware updates across multiple ClickShare Base Units at one or more locations.

To configure automatic firmware updates
- Log in to the ClickShare Configurator of your Base Unit (how-to, see KB2324).
- Go to Support & Updates > Firmware Update.
- Set Automatic Firmware updates to Automatic and click Save changes.
Note: It is strongly advised to re-pair the ClickShare Button(s) when the Base Unit has been updated (how-to, see KB5924)!
Note: Following the discontinuation of the Auto Update service for ClickShare CS and CSE series devices, automatic firmware updates will no longer be available for these devices. For more details, see KB16173.
