About this chapter

This chapter provides a detailed procedure for upgrading Event Master series processor software (firmware).

Note: The E2 Lite works only with the EMTS version 6.4.

The Event Master series processor provides two options for upgrading firmware via the front panel menu:

Using the USB port on the front panel.
Using the Web Upgrade.

Note: In the event the Event Master series processor gets into a state in which it constantly reboots after a software upgrade, press and hold the SEL and ESC keys simultaneously until the front panel shows the choice of performing a factory reset or continuing. Performing a factory reset will allow the Event Master series processor to boot normally.
