2.5 Preset configuration

The display's state is controlled by 5 user-adjustable presets (Preset 1 through Preset 5). These presets are the core of the display's multi-workstation switching and configuration ability. The full configuration of presets is managed in the OSD menu, accessed via the shortcut bar (see “Shortcut bar operation (Standby, OSD, Presets, PbP)”).

This procedure details how to enter the OSD menu and define the settings for each of the 5 available preset slots.

  1. Press or turn the jog dial to activate the shortcut bar.
  2. Select the Menu button, then press to confirm.
  3. Navigate to Input Settings > Preset 1 (or the desired preset number).
  4. Adjust the required option (see table below).
  5. Select the Back option at the end of the preset configuration list to apply the changes and exit the menu.

Note: Applying changes to the currently active preset may cause the display to lose the image, change resolution, or require a reboot.

Note: Even when the List in Shortcut Bar setting is enabled for a specific preset, the preset button will only be available in the shortcut bar if the global Presets in Shortcut Bar control is enabled (see “Shortcut bar button visibility”).

If, on the other hand, the List in Shortcut Bar setting is disabled for all individual presets, the button will still be visible but will not be able to cycle through the different presets. Switching presets is then only possible by using the Preset Selector in the full OSD menu (Input Settings).

Note: Since the presets cannot be renamed, keep a record of which setup corresponds to which number (e.g., Preset 1 is your primary workstation setup; Preset 3 is your secondary workstation setup).
