The Salud Digna team was looking to double its services across the country to be able to treat some 13 million patients in Mexico per annum and therefore needed to acquire new medical displays.
The expansion also had to meet specific quality requirements. Further, the team was looking to achieve improvements in the workflow and ease the strain on the clinician’s eyes.
Salud Digna opted to equip their teams with Coronis Uniti display systems, backed up with QAWeb to provide online quality assurance service for consistent quality control.
The Salud Digna team appreciates the many unique features of the Coronis Uniti, such as the 33” screen, multimodality imaging capability, 12MP resolution and the innovative productivity tools that allow image enhancements.
“The development has been almost magical,” comments Dr. Horacio Lopez Toledo, Radiologist and Founder of Salud Digna. The technology allows the radiologists to observe greater detail in images as well as measure, magnify, move and control the luminance.
“The Barco display offers greater security while making a diagnosis. Having an excellent resolution of the images allows them to be evaluated in much more detail and in a shorter time,” comments Yito Palafox, MD, radiologist specialist in breast imaging and intervention.
