From June 3 till June 5, Barco presented its product offering at the fifth annual World Stadium Congress, hosted in Doha, Qatar. Visitors to the exhibition showed significant interest in Barco’s ClickShare and control room solutions, along with the latest virtual reality technology.
The World Stadium Congress is the world’s leading conference dedicated to the design and development of world-class stadiums. The event brings representatives of host countries, governments and local organizing committees into contact with regional and international experts from across the stadium industry, like Barco.
2013’s edition focused on designing and developing sustainable, energy efficient stadiums within compact master plans that ensure a lasting legacy. Hosting the 2022 FIFA World Cup, Qatar was the ideal location for this event. It was also the perfect place for Barco to meet up with its business partners and distributors and demonstrate its latest innovations to existing and future clients.
Barco’s exhibition stand was built up around three product lines, including the OBLX-55 innovative LCD video wall structure. As a freestanding structure capable of holding 55"-panels in a 2x2 landscape mode set-up, the OBLX-55 is a perfect fit for exhibitions and temporary events. Also in the spotlight were Barco’s high-brightness event projectors and ClickShare ‒ Barco’s wireless presentation and collaboration system.
