With his trademark fanfare, David Niles is captivating audiences with a truly fantastic video and lighting show at the Comcast Center in downtown Philadelphia to celebrate the holiday season.
In a series of videos entitled "Holiday Spectacular," the Niles Creative Group is showcasing a rich array of performing arts imagery, including dancing ice sculptures, Broadway 1940’s Swing dancers, world-class ice skaters, a first-person sleigh ride through the City, and much more. The 15-minute segment runs hourly* through January 2, 2011, on the 83' x 25' Comcast Experience video wall supplied by Barco, which is the world's largest 4 mm LED display. The latest scenes were shot with the "RED ONE" 4K camera to create the high resolution imagery - 5X that of an HDTV -- for the 10 million pixel display. A couple of SHOWGUN 2.5 fixtures animate to the music in the back of the house, with several others beaming light around the exterior of the 8-story glass atrium. Sky trackers, color washes and artificial snow dance among the audience for a totally immersive experience.
