Global visualization pioneer Barco announces that it will exhibit its Smart Broadcasting visualization solutions – including enriched video wall solutions and the LiveDots outdoor LED displays – at the 2013 China Content Broadcasting Network (CCBN) exhibition, from 21 – 23 March, in Beijing. Barco will present the compelling features of its smart products and solutions to visitors under the theme: “Barco enables your smarter tomorrow”.
The largest and most influential broadcasting technology and equipment expo in the Asia-Pacific region, CCBN is also the most important event for the radio and television industry in China. The new technologies and products that Barco has displayed at previous CCBN events have attracted widespread attention from the entire industry.
At CCNB 2013, Barco will exhibit its video wall solutions for the broadcast industry. Barco’s unique solution includes 2 systems for Broadcasting clients: OVL video walls equipped with the Encore image processor, and MVL video walls coupled with the ScreenPro II image processor. In keeping with its concept of ‘smarter monitoring’ and ‘smarter events’, Barco is striving to provide more user-friendly and convenient smart solutions for users.
Barco has always focused on meeting the exacting demands of the radio and television industry. For example, the OVL video wall – the star product, with the highest display standard – has been implemented at a variety of news studios, which have very high requirements for display quality. The industry-standard MVL video wall, launched last year, provides enhanced color fidelity, greater image quality, and higher brightness, while being more cost-effective and durable. It has already been, or is planned to be, installed at a number of TV stations and authorities, including: Dezhou TV Station, Dongying TV Station, Hebei TV Station, Communication University of China, Hong Kong Asia Television, and Zhejiang Deqing Meteorological Station.
In addition to its smart solutions, Barco will also showcase the LiveDots B10 vehicle LED display and LiveDots TF20 outdoor LED display. The TF20 is integrated with environmentally friendly technologies that reduce light pollution effectively. The display also uses a rendering engine to produce better visual effects at reduced display brightness and power consumption.
