Get wise about Barco at Live Entertainment & Event Expo in Japan

From 8 to 10 July next, Tokyo (Japan) will host the 2nd Live Entertainment & Event Expo. At what is bound to be one of the busiest booths of the event, channel partner Eizou KiKi System (EKS) plans to showcase several of Barco’s latest cinema solutions.

Last year, over 20,000 visitors attended the first edition of Japan’s leading trade fair for the live entertainment, performance and events industry. To build on this success, Live Entertainment & Event Expo is gearing up for an even bigger happening this year. With the cream of the crop in cinema products and services on display, the trade fair would be incomplete without some of Barco’s newest gems.

Interactivity taken to the next level
EKS will use every inch of its interactive, 60m2 booth (#2-1) to give the audience a taste of tantalizing cinema. Audiophiles will surely revel in the Auro 11.1 by Barco immersive audio format, also discovering the Auro 9.1 variant for home cinema installations and the compact DP2K Barco Alchemy Cinema projector along the way. A mounted Barco IOSONO CORE audio processor will demonstrate just how simple creating a mesmerizing soundscape can be for venues where sound is an intricate part of the performance or presentation..

But there’s more. How about, for instance, the powerful and ultra-bright Barco DP4K DLP projector, pushed to its limits in a live demo of Interactive Dimension™. Jointly developed by Barco and Audience Entertainment, this platform enables visitors to physically interact with the content displayed on-screen and create a personalized movie-going experience. Finally, the booth will also feature a live demo of DOOHapps’ interactive content apps. What more reasons could you need to come down to Tokyo and join in the fun?
