Does ClickShare Bar support Wired RoomDock?

Yes, Wired RoomDock¹ is supported on the CB Pro from firmware version 2.19 onwards.

What is supported?

• DP alt. mode
  • The laptop user can output the laptop content to the CB Pro through USB Type-C port which supports DP alt. mode.
  • The laptop can see CB Pro as an extension display.
• Peripheral devices passthrough
  • The laptop can access the ClickShare camera/microphone/speaker from the CB Pro through the same USB Type-C port.

What is not supported?

• Wired RoomDock is not supported on CB Core.
• The laptop cannot access other USB ports on the CB Pro.
• The laptop cannot be charged from the Power Delivery (PD) source device through USB Type-C port.
• Flexible Meeting Room integration (a.k.a. Peripheral Switching) is not supported.
