To troubleshoot flickering issues or image artifact with your screen when using a ClickShare Base Unit for sharing, follow these steps: 

  1. Check HDMI™ Connection:
    • Ensure HDMI™ cables are securely connected at both ends.
    • If using extenders, try bypassing them
  2. Check HDMI™ Port:
    • Verify the HDMI™ port on your screen is not faulty.
    • Try using a different HDMI™ input on the screen.
  3. Use High-Quality HDMI Cable:
    • Use a short, high-quality HDMI™ cable that supports up to 4K@60Hz.
  4. Test with Another Screen:
    • Connect another screen to see if the issue persists.
  5. Disable Special Features:
    • Check if the HDMI™ input has ARC (Audio Return Channel), MHL (Mobile High-Definition Link), or STB (Set Top Box) enabled.
    • Try disabling these to see if it has an impact on the flicker or make sure to disable them (consult the screen manual).
