Overview

To successfully onboard and operate a Barco ClickShare Hub (Base Unit), specific network endpoints must be accessible. These endpoints enable firmware updates, cloud provisioning, and secure communication with Barco and Microsoft services.

Frequently Asked Questions

1. What are the mandatory network endpoints required?

These endpoints are essential for cloud onboarding, remote management, and keeping the ClickShare Hub up to date.

Ensure the following Barco specific endpoints are reachable over TCP Port 443,

Prior to starting the  implemented connectivity check a 204 connectivity check only to following endpoint, if this is not successful the onboarding will be stopped at the connectivity check state and will not be able to complete.

EndpointPurpose
connectivitycheck.gstatic.com
Android / Chrome OS connectivity probes. The device performs an HTTP request expecting a 204 No Content response to confirm “real internet access”

We advise to use wildcard entries where supported. - Otherwise, explicitly allow the listed endpoints.
