Healthcare communications redefined in Stuttgart
1 min di lettura
On May 7th 2013, healthcare professionals from all over Europe assembled in Stuttgart, Germany for Clinical Communication Day, held in Klinikum Stuttgart’s new service center. Barco and long-time partner xevIT Networks addressed the topic of emerging trends and technologies in clinical communications. A number of key topics were covered, ranging from modern hospital public relations to the way video communication technology, digital signage and Interactive Patient Care Solutions at the bedside are raising the quality and productivity in one of Germany’s largest hospitals.
A broad view on communication
Having recently renewed a large part of its infrastructure, the service center of Klinikum Stuttgart offered the perfect backdrop for a day full of inspiring presentations. About 50 attendees listened attentively to best practices, tips and experiences from the hospital’s CEO and communication expert Holger Steudemann, thus acquiring a new and broad perspective on healthcare communication technology.
Efficiency through technology
The highlight of the day was a guided tour of the hospital, where hospital staff, Barco and xevIT demonstrated how their recent video communication, digital signage and Interactive Patient Care Solutions at the bedside were integrated to increase efficiency, provide maximum security and offer patients and their families the best possible comfort in difficult circumstances.
”Showcasing the latest Barco technologies with xevIT at Klinikum Stuttgart was an exceptional opportunity”, said Barco’s Business Development Representative Ruben De Baere. “Attendees were able to experience in a real life setting the multiple benefits that our interactive patient care solutions provide. From significant efficiency savings to tangible improvements in the level of care and patient satisfaction, we believe the event really had an impact on attendees.”
