Welcome to the club, Absen: Infinipix now powers the KLCOB V3 LED platform

We have some news we’re excited to share. Absen is joining our LED Alliance, and our Infinipix image processor now integrates with their KLCOB V3 series. You can get it in 0.9, 1.2 and 1.5 mm pixel pitches.

With every new partner, and with more COB, MIP and SMD platforms on board, more customers can enjoy Infinipix image quality on the LED hardware they prefer. Why the processor matters so much

Here’s something that is easy to forget when you admire a big LED wall: every image passes through the processor before it reaches the screen. The LED processor takes care of color, motion, sync, reliability and security. Only then does the image travel to the LED tiles and receiver cards, and finally to the person watching.

The display shows the image. The processor decides how it looks, how it moves and how it stays in sync across hundreds of tiles. Or, as we like to put it: the display is what people see, and image processing decides how well they see it.

What this means for the KLCOB V3

The KLCOB V3 combines Absen’s next-generation Micro LED hardware with our image processing expertise. The result is a sharper, more consistent and more uniform image. Two Infinipix features do a lot of the heavy lifting. True Dynamic Range uses 24-bit color processing to keep grayscale and detail intact when a wall runs at reduced brightness, which is how many control rooms and design centers use their walls. Smart-Calibration automatically applies the correct color gamut, so skin tones look natural and brand colors stay true.

Our alliance partners love Infinipix just as much for how little effort it takes to get there. A guided setup flow and an intuitive interface make configuring a wall straightforward, even if you’re not an LED specialist.
