ClickShare Base Units that come out of the factory or haven't been updated for 18 months will show a message on the wallpaper that a New firmware available.
In the case of using the default wallpaper, this message will appear. Using a custom wallpaper will not show the update message.
We advise you to regularly check our website and update your Base Units for the best experience.
You can perform a firmware update either via the web interface or via a USB stick, for information (how to: see KB 5923).
