About transitions

Transitions move the scene from preview to program. The following chapters explain the possible methods of transitioning a scene.

• Cut transitions, where the transition is instant.
• Animated transitions, where the transition animations and layer movements are played over a defined period of time. For more information on how to configure layer movement, see “Applying a move animation”.
