8.1 Using the room AV equipment

AV equipment
Audio-Video (AV) equipment refers to specialized hardware that supports audio, video or both audio and video related capabilities. This equipment can be a standalone peripheral or built-in to other hardware.
Conferencing app
A conferencing application sends audio, video and content over the internet to and from the participants. Joining a meeting through a conferencing app is seen as being a remote participant.

Meeting rooms can have AV equipment installed and connected to ClickShare. These peripherals can consist out of the following equipment:

all of these peripherals can be used while using a conferencing app or as device peripherals while sharing locally.

How to use
  1. Which AV equipment must be used?

    • For cameras, select Room Camera.
    • For microphone or speakers, select Room Speakerphone.

    The icon of the AV equipment (, or ) in use turns green on the meeting room displays.
