After 2 consecutive boot cycles, configuration of network integration got lost and needed to be reapplied
There were some cases where Touchback registers wrong coordinates or stops working after extensive use. This also caused some pens not to work anymore.

Accessing the ClickShare Configurator via FQDN was showing a malformed login page.

Base Unit became unresponsive when the meeting room name exceeded 24 characters (CN and NA models only).
Base Unit did not wake from networked standby when a Button was connecting.
Uploading a full backup in the ClickShare Configurator of a previous version was failing due to missing parameters.
Prevented a temporary DoS on the REST interface.
Re-generating the self-signed certificate for HTTPS resulted in an error page.
When changing security levels, the settings were immediately applied without asking confirmation.

The 1.8.1 firmware introduces a solution to an issue that was introduced in the 1.8 firmware by which it was impossible to upload a certificate via the ClickShare Configurator.
Note: the issue could only be encountered when doing a new configuration with manual certificate upload with 802.1x wired authentication or when doing a reconfiguration.

Configuring 802.1x with EAP and manual certificate upload results in "Please enter a value with a valid mimetype".

This firmware introduces a mechanism for the auto renewal of (self-signed) certificates when they are expired. The user will not notice anything from this process.
As from the 1.8 firmware version, support for older Buttons without certificate (article number R9861006D01) is dropped on CS-100 (Huddle), CSE-200, CSE-200+ and CSE-800 models.
Support for MirrorOp has been dropped and we advise to work with the ClickShare apps.
For the Windows driver for ClickShare to detect the Button, they require an update. This will go automatically via update over Wi-Fi. To remove the need for a dedicated network drop in the meeting room, we introduce the wireless client mode for the CSE-200+, allowing to connect or integrate the Base Unit into the corporate network via Wi-Fi.
With dual network support, we make network integration for BYOD a breeze. Dual network allows to simultaneously connect the unit to two different networks, one via Ethernet and one via Wi-Fi.
Custom Button Integration allows for greater flexibility when integrating your ClickShare devices by giving you full control over both the Button connection and the wireless settings of the Base Unit separately. This allows to enable presence detection for the ClickShare desktop App when the Button is fully integrated in the corporate network and to support direct connectivity for guests or BYOD.
For better integration in your corporate network, 5GHz DFS channels are now available when integrating the Button paired with the CSE-200+ in the corporate network. (EU version only).
Miracast R2 functionality providing an additional way of BYOD content sharing.
Windows driver support for the ClickShare Button on Windows 7, 8, 8.1 and 10. The Windows driver removes the last hurdle in the ClickShare Button experience by removing any need for manual action before sharing. The Windows driver automatically launches the ClickShare Client on the Button, allowing to click the button without any user action. The Windows pc will automatically download the driver from the Windows Update store upon first insertion of the ClickShare Button (internet connection required).
Prevent laptop going to standby when a Button is sharing content to the Base Unit for an improved experience during presentations.

In certain instances, the internal Wi-Fi module became unavailable and required a reboot of the Base Unit.
HDMI input discolouration issue has been fully resolved via this update.
