Secutec turned to long-time AV partner Whitemilk, which had delivered the company’s previous security operations center in 2018 and was brought back in from the earliest design stages of the new building. For the three mission-critical rooms, Whitemilk built the solution around Barco's control room technology.
In the SOC, operators look out on a large-format LED video wall, with additional interactive screens integrated into the wider Barco control environment. Instead of switching between separate computers and controllers for each source, Barco CTRL gives operators a single, unified workspace: up to fifty AV sources can be accessed and managed from one keyboard and mouse. The same logic extends to the war room and the customer experience room, where sources, applications and devices come together on one consistent, intuitive platform.
Security was designed in from the start. The three control rooms run on their own dedicated network, separate from the AV infrastructure serving the rest of the building's meeting rooms and offices, a distinction that matters for a company whose own business is protecting networks.
Barco’s IP-based architecture also gives Secutec room to grow. New physical or virtual sources can be added to the Barco environment and folded into existing workflows, without requiring the underlying system to be redesigned each time.
