Grand Opening Barco's Experience Center 2025

Barco has officially opened its renewed Experience Center at the company’s global headquarters in Kortrijk last Friday. The ribbon-cutting ceremony was led by CEO An Steegen and Ruth Vandenberghe, Mayor of Kortrijk. The redesigned Experience Center not only showcases Barco’s latest innovations but also offers a glimpse into the company’s vision for the future – where software and AI are becoming central to the customer experience.

This marks the third major transformation of the Experience Center since the opening of the Barco Campus in 2016. The official opening took place on Friday 24 October, while an audience of investors, analysts, and financial press got an exclusive preview during Barco’s Capital Markets Day held the day before, on Thursday 23 October.

I’m honored to open our revamped Experience Center today, and we’re looking forward to welcoming many customers, partners, and audiences from around the world to discover the fresh experiences powered by Barco tech. I’m especially proud of the teamwork that went into this project, so a special thanks to everyone involved.

What’s new: a tour through innovation

The renewed Experience Center offers a unique journey through Barco’s latest technologies across six themed pods:

1. Discovery pod

In this brand-new room, visitors can discover the power behind Barco’s image processing technology, featuring live demos of the ENCORE3 screen management system, Infinipix™ LED processor and our latest Nexxis Compute surgical processing capabilities.

2. Healthcare pod

Showcasing how Barco enhances patient care through visualization, connectivity, and AI-assisted workflows. Highlights include: the Coronis OneLook mammography display, digital pathology display, autostereoscopic 3D medical display (no glasses required), and Brilliant Assistant for voice-controlled surgical support.

3. Enterprise pod

Split into two key experiences:

Control Rooms : demonstrating how mission-critical visualization and software solutions empower operators to make fast, informed decisions in high-pressure environments.
ClickShare : hybrid meeting solutions, including our latest range of ClickShare Room Systems. As part of the Microsoft ecosystem, these modular meeting room solutions are designed for enhanced, effortless hybrid meetings.

4. Residential Pod

A luxury showcase of professional cinema technology for home theaters and high-end environments, featuring the new ultra-quiet Heimdall 4K laser projector.

5. Immersive Experiences Pod

In this room, visitors are treated to stunning immersive shows powered by 14 laser projectors, including the latest QDX and I600 projectors.

6. The Theater

Experience the future of cinema with HDR by Barco,
our groundbreaking cinema HDR technology featuring Lightsteering, delivering unmatched brightness, deep blacks, and vivid contrast.
