Working with several industry-leading healthcare partners, Barco has supported a diverse curriculum of didactic sessions, hands-on training and case-based discussions. Barco has also contributed to individual hands-on workshops, providing more than 25 dual-head display stations per workshop comprised of Barco Mammo Tomosynthesis 5MP displays, Coronis 5MP Mammo displays and the new Conference CloneView software tool for large-format image projection.
“My hands-on courses are specifically designed to help radiologists to develop skills that will ultimately lead to fewer call-backs, and enable them to be more confident in reading a large number of mammograms,” comments Laszlo Tabar, MD, FACR (Hon) Course Director Professor Emeritus of Radiology. “Their ability to report safely and at a higher level of quality depends upon having the very best medical displays. The reliability, excellent image clarity and consistency of the Barco displays, under any lighting conditions, make them ideal for our workshops. Barco displays were our first and only choice.”
